Intersec prepares to launch in Europe
Frankfurt am Mein, Germany
Intersec Europe will make its debut in Frankfurt am Main next September. For the first time, this new European platform aims to bring together solutions for physical security, cyber security and AI in an integrated approach – with a clear focus on the protection of buildings, businesses and critical infrastructure.
At the heart of the event, according to the organiser, are the specific requirements of operators and end users, as well as decision-makers who shape security strategies and are responsible for investment decisions. With Intersec Europe, Messe Frankfurt is expanding the globally recognised Intersec brand with a standalone event in Frankfurt am Main.
With Intersec Europe, taking place in Frankfurt am Main from 14 to 16 September 2027, Messe Frankfurt is establishing a new international trade fair for integrated security solutions for the European market. Emerging threats and new EU-level regulations are changing the requirements placed on businesses, public authorities and operators. Intersec Europe aims to address these developments by combining the exhibition with a conference, networking and business matchmaking. The focus is on products, technologies and services designed to protect buildings, business premises, public spaces and infrastructure.
Exhibiting companies will present integrated security solutions ranging from video surveillance, access control and perimeter protection to fire detection and alarm systems, cybersecurity and AI applications. According to Messe Frankfurt, leading industry players are supporting Intersec Europe right from the start, thereby underlining the importance of the trade fair. These include companies such as, Abus, Assa Abloy, Dormakaba, ECO Schulte, GEZE, Hodapp, NSC, Salto and Winkhaus.
Wolfgang Marzin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Messe Frankfurt, comments: “For more than 20 years, we have been staging Intersec Global in Dubai, one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for the security industry. In Frankfurt, we are now drawing on this experience, our global network and the strength of our international trade fair portfolio, comprising 13 events. With Intersec Europe, we are creating a dedicated platform for the European market.”
