A new integration between Mappedin and Brivo brings Brivo's access control and video management capabilities directly into Mappedin Security Center, delivering a unified, map-based security operations experience for enterprise and campus environments.
Ideal for enhancing modern facilities that already rely on multiple, disconnected security systems for access control, video surveillance, and incident management, the integration capabilities include, facilities such as seeing all access events in real time on an interactive map and viewing live video from Brivo-connected cameras based on camera locations displayed on a map.
In addition the integration includes:
Correlating access and video events based on locations
Configuring alert rules to highlight specific events with visual indicators on a map
Managing lockdowns and emergency responses from the map
Monitoring building-wide security status on unified dashboards
These combined capabilities give security teams and building operators a foundational layer of indoor building intelligence to keep physical assets, tenants, and visitors safe.
“Security teams need to know what is happening, and more importantly, specifically where it is happening and what resources are nearby,” said Brian McIlravey, Director of Enterprise Security and Public Safety. “Our partnership with Brivo provides a layer of intelligence for security operators and responders so that they can make faster, more informed decisions. Together we’re delivering better safety outcomes for our customers.”
Brivo's open API platform and Mappedin's SDK connect Brivo-managed access points and cameras to their corresponding locations on Mappedin's interactive 3D indoor maps. The combined integration creates a solution that supports multi-building, multi-floor venues, and scales from single buildings to large campuses.
“Security events don’t happen in dashboards; they happen in physical spaces,” said Tijmen Vos, Brivo VP Product. “By combining Brivo’s unified access control and video platform with Mappedin’s indoor mapping technology, we’re giving security teams the spatial context they need to act faster and smarter. It’s another step toward making physical security more connected, intelligent, and actionable.”
