The Directorate of Medical Emergency Services (SEM) of El Salvador upgraded its security infrastructure through the implementation of an advanced video surveillance system based on artificial intelligence and edge video analytics. Bolide Technology Group designed and deployed a comprehensive solution for SEM’s central facilities and helicopter operations, integrating high-resolution cameras, facial recognition, license plate recognition (LPR), and advanced analytics tools. This solution enhances security, optimizes operational efficiency, and strengthens the management of people flow within the facilities.

As an operational center for medical coordination and emergency logistics, SEM required the modernization of its security system to meet new operational demands.

The main objectives of the project included:

Upgrading the existing video surveillance infrastructure with next-generation technology.

Enhancing access control and monitoring of critical areas, including the heliport and operational zones.

Implementing AI-based analytics to improve prevention, investigation, and operational management within the facility.
